John Campbell has been a member of Savage & Associates since 1979. He specializes in total financial strategies for families and small businesses.

Experience

After graduating from The University of Toledo, John practiced pharmacy in retail and hospital settings. In 1980, while continuing his pharmacy career, John began working at Savage & Associates. His dual careers allowed him to enjoy two very diverse professions. Since both professions require continuing education, John acquired his Diabetes Specialist Certification and his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations. In 2001, after 21 years of splitting careers, and after qualifying for the Million-Dollar Round Table for two consecutive years, John decided to make his avocation his full-time profession. This change allows him to give his full energies to servicing his many clients.

Education

John graduated from the College of Pharmacy at The University of Toledo in 1976. He stays active in the pharmacy community, having served as President of The University of Toledo College of Pharmacy Alumni Association, regularly attending Toledo Academy of Pharmacy meetings, and giving guest lectures at the university to students on personal financial services.

Personal

Although John graduated from Springfield High School and has lived most of his life in Lucas County, he is the only member of Savage & Associates to celebrate Groundhog Day, having been born in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Working only one profession has allowed John to pursue other interests. In 2001, he traveled to Poland and the Ukraine as a chaperone for the Youth Diplomats of the Toledo Sister Cities program. He is excited about this year's trip to Spain. Four or five times a week, John visits the Wildwood Athletic Club, often with his son, Justin, participating in spinning classes or weightlifting. In warmer weather he rides his bicycle on roads west of Toledo. Also, in 2001, John revived an old interest by renewing his Scuba Diving Certificate and diving with friends in the Bahamas.
